Chair Fusion and Chair Yoga
Anahata Mosaic offers both Chair Fusion and Chair Yoga. Both are suitable for all fitness levels and all poses and activities may be modified as necessary to meet your individual fitness needs. Specific details for each class are listed below.
Chair Fusion
Chair Fusion works the joints and muscles to increase an individual’s flexibility, strength, and balance. Fusion formats blend practices from yoga, fitness, barre, and Mat Pilates, while focusing on increasing an individual’s strength and mobility which is essential for our physical wellness as we age.
This class will include seated postures and standing postures where the chair is used as a prop. Chair Fusion also introduces the use of foam rollers, resistance bands, gertie balls, and weights to target specific goals of each class. Whether you are seated or standing, the use of a chair encourages participants to move, breathe, and experience stability while gaining bodily awareness. Chair Fusion is suitable and encouraged for ALL fitness levels, including those recovering from injury or surgery, as well as individuals searching for prenatal fitness and yoga and postnatal fitness and yoga wellness options.
All props used in Chair Fusion will be provided at the studio with several options available to modify and customize according to the individual needs of each participant.
Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga is gentle, yet effective at supporting the body so you can move, breathe, and experience stability while enhancing focus, clarity, and overall wellness. This class is suitable for all fitness levels and great for building body awareness.
Those recovering from injury or surgery, as well as individuals searching for prenatal fitness and yoga and postnatal fitness and yoga wellness options would benefit from including chair yoga in their recovery plan.
All props used in Chair Yoga will be provided at the studio with several options available to modify and customize according to the individual needs of each participant.
